2. God's Biblical plan of salvation worth keeping!!
1. The word must be preached and heard before a person can respond to it;
I Cor.1:21, Rom.10:14.
2. The word preached must be believed on by the person hearing it;
John 3:16, Rom.10:17, Acts 8:12, Mark 16:16, Heb.11:6.
3. The person, upon believing, must be compelled to repent of sin;
Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38, Acts 17:30, Rev.3:19.
4. The Apostles and disciples compelled those who believed to confess Jesus as the Promised Messiah (Christ) the Son of God; Matt.16:16, Acts 8:37,
Rom.10:9-10, Phil.2:10-11.
5. When the Lord gave the command to be baptized He did not say maybe and did not say it was for church membership or not important. Baptism, along with the previous commands, saves us; Matt.28:18-20, Acts 2:38,
I Peter 3:21, Rom.6:3-5, Acts 22:16...
6. To be assured of heaven live a Christian life; I Cor.15:58, II Peter 3:14...
7. Take the Lord's supper weekly as He commanded; Acts 20:7.
