Section 5.
The New Testament shall be our GUIDE as to Faith, Doctrine and Life. In all things pertaining to system and order, the New Testament shall guide us when its teaching is clearly apparent. In other matters we shall do that which is most expedient.

Section 6.
This Constitution and By-Laws are written as required by law and to re-affirm our faith and establish some guidelines where the Bible is silent. They are written to serve the Church not for the Church to serve a set of By-Laws.

Article IV- Membership

Section 1. (Identity)
The membership of this Church shall consist of those who are at present identified as active members of this congregation.

Section 2. (Prerequisites)
Whosoever will, can become a member of this Church, who is willing to believe with honesty and sincerity, that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, genuinely repent of their sins, confess this faith before men, accepting Him as their Lord and Savior, and be scripturally immersed in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit for the forgiveness of sin and the gift of the Holy Spirit.  These shall be received with the right hand of fellowship by the evangelist or by any elder of the Church.

Section 3. (Transfers)
Anyone desiring to transfer his or her membership from another congregation to this Church may do so if he or she has previously made a public confession of faith and has been immersed, as outline in section 2 of this article. See Article IV, Section 2.

Section 4. (Letter of Demit)
    Any member in good standing shall be granted, upon request, a regular letter of transfer by the evangelist or some other person designated by the elders of the Church. No letter is required for transfers out of the brotherhood of Churches of Christ and Christian Churches.

Section 5. (Withdrawal and/or dismissal)
Withdrawal and/or dismissal of a member or officer shall come as a last resort if trying to restore the member to the faithful service of Christ and His Church.  This shall be done only upon the recommendation of the elders and the majority vote of the active members at the annual meeting or any meeting called for such purpose. (Matthew 18:15-17) Under no circumstances shall any accusation be accepted against any member, officer or staff unless given by at least two or three witnesses.
Article V - Meetings of the Church
Section 1. (Regular worship meetings)
The worship services of the Church shall be held each first day of the week, morning and evening where the Lord's Supper is commemorated. Meetings shall be held on Wednesday evening (prayer and Bible study)
