Many do not have e-mail or I don't have your e-mail address. (I'm not asking for your e-mail address unless you want to communicate.) It seems, by the record, we are behind the "8 Ball," so to speak. This country is losing the battle for moral decency. Do you care? With freedom comes the responsibility to maintain that freedom. In maintaining freedom we need the moral integrity to be responsible. That is, we have the freedom to do what is right. If we fail to do what is right our freedom becomes slavery to sin. Slavery to sin may then become slavery to tyranny. Since all mature adults who have some education know what tyranny brings, we want to stay as far away from it as possible. Unfortunately some people in this country see big government as a benefit not tyranny. They see nothing wrong with sin because they don't see how it should produce tyranny. Without getting long-winded lets just say sin produces tyranny because whole government agencies are created just to regulate or control the sin. An example would be alcohol, tobacco and drugs. We know that firearms are not in themselves sinful but the misuse is. I don't think I need to go on about it much more. You get the picture… I will try to continue the Apologetics article next month. Dear Friends:
I understand the Federal Marriage Amendment is going to be on the table for a vote soon. We sure do need a suitable alternative to the "Gay" (homosexual) agenda. Our national, societal and personal health depends on a moral law. Without the Marriage Amendment we are doomed to spiral down into the mire of debauchery not seen since the time of Sodom and Gomorrah. Our fate will be the same as theirs, I am afraid. If we are indeed a God Fearing nation how can we let homosexuals dictate our laws and lifestyle? God Himself has spoken on the issue not only in the Old Testament including the Law of Moses but also in the New Testament, the Law of Christ. The condemnation is sure and swift, according to the accounts. Don't think the just will escape the consequences. Quite often the godly person suffers along side the ungodly when the vengeance comes, especially when the godly do nothing or very little.

Even though I do not agree with all of their doctrine and actions the American Family Association has a web site designed to promote morality and fight the ungodly moral decay including homosexuality. Their web site is at http://www.afa.net
If you can contact your Senator directly it would be a benefit. Please don't let this opportunity pass by without trying to stop the onslaught of immorality in America.
Someone said love the sinner but hate the sin. We realize that when a person is so immersed in his sin that it becomes a part of his very soul and being that the previous statement makes no sense to him. If we could talk a person out of a sinful destructive lifestyle we would be happy to talk long and hard. The truth is they aren't listening until they are ready. I have heard people say, "why didn't you tell me about Jesus sooner than you did." The person didn't stop to realize we weren't silent, they were just not listening until they were put in a position that they had to make a change or else… That means we need to protect ourselves from the sin and possibly the sinner until he (or she) repents. That means we do need laws to dictate how we act in an ever-degenerate society. If we can't trust the judges to get it right we need a law so plain and direct it would take professional help to get wrong. Love the sinner, hate the sin but protect yourself.
God watches our every move and action. We know that He knows all things before they happen but He doesn't make us do anything, contrary to some doctrinal positions. We need to make the right thing happen here in this country very soon. If we get this wrong we can send all the troops and have the latest and best technology but we will still lose because God will have left us. We may be seeing the partial evidences of that right now. We shouldn't lose any battle or war but we are struggling to protect ourselves from a godless (and borderless) nationality. The violence on the street is increasing because of our increasing ungodliness. I haven't heard from God through some miraculous means but if His word is of any account, we are suffering some of these ills because we are becoming increasingly godless.
Don't sit around until it is too late to do anything. Please act on what you know to be the right thing to do. Turn this country around and head it in the right direction toward God and morality. We each see and feel the affects of immorality in our daily lives. What a pleasure it would be to be relieved of some of that immorality.
